Image and file hosting for VMCs
Add DigiCert hosting to a Verified Mark Certificate
On a new or existing Verified Mark Certificate (VMC), you have the option to let DigiCert host your logo image and certificate file. When DigiCert hosting is enabled, we will:
Automatically push the latest version of your files to our hosted server, so you don’t need to make any changes when you renew or reissue your certificate.
Match the PEM file (certificate) byte-for-byte to your logo SVG file.
Provide file locations and detailed instructions on pointing your Domain Name System (DNS) records to the hosted files.
Provide space to host the logo and certificate files.
Prevent you having to involve other teams.
No matter which hosting option you choose, you still must meet the requirements for a VMC including:
A DMARC-compliant domain (DMARC stands for Domain-Based Message Authentication Reporting and Conformance, which is a protocol that helps email providers block spam.)
A logo that is a registered trademark
A Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) file of your logo (how to convert your logo to SVG)

Once we issue your certificate, return to the order details page in CertCentral (Certificates > Orders, then select the order number).
Scroll down to Logo and certificate hosting settings. Select Display the URLs for hosted files.
Use these URLs to create a DNS record that points to your hosted files.
