Resend the account creation email

If a user loses or deletes the account creation email before they finish setting up their account, resend it. CertCentral sends a new DigiCert User Account Created - Action Required email with a new sign-in link.

Before you begin

  • This procedure applies to a user added directly to your account who has not finished creating their account.

  • When you resend the email, the link in the previous email expires. A user who selects the expired link sees this message: "The emailed link is invalid or has expired. Try resetting your password or try logging in to resolve the issue."

  • Ask the user to check their junk or spam folder before you resend.

Resend the account creation email

  1. In the CertCentral main menu, go to Account > Users.

  2. On the Users page, locate the user.

  3. In the Name column, select the user's name.

  4. On the user's details page, select Resend Create User Email.

The user receives a new DigiCert User Account Created - Action Required email with a new link to finish creating their account.
