Access the audit logs

Platform audit logs track various actions performed by you and users in your account. All solutions have their own audit logs. Use these logs to enhance security, monitor activities, and ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.

To view platform audit logs

  1. Sign in to DigiCert® account.

  2. Select Audit logs.

  3. On the Audit logs page, use the filters to search the log.

Customize your audit log view

You can simplify the view of your Audit logs doing one or more of the following:

Add or remove columns

Above the Audit logs table:

  1. Select the Settings icon.

  2. Select the checkbox next to the columns you want displayed and clear the checkbox to remove the column from your audit log view.

Filter by date

In the Date column, you can:

  • Select the up arrow to sort items in descending order (oldest first) or the down arrow to sort in ascending order (newest first).

  • Select the filter icon, then select a start and end date from the calendar.

Filter by column

Select the filter icon in the following columns:

  • Username: Enter the username in the search field.

  • Account: Select the account from the dropdown list. This is useful if you have access to multiple accounts.

  • Action: Select an action from the dropdown.

  • Resource type: Select the method used to sign in.

  • Status: Select Success or Failure to track event outcomes.

Useful but non-filterable fields

Some fields can’t be directly filtered but still provide valuable context:

  • Description: Provides detailed reasons for unsuccessful actions (for example, incorrect credentials or locked accounts).

  • IP address: Helps identify where you or other users in your account were during a specific event.
