Associate ACME credentials with a certificate profile
CertCentral links each set of ACME credentials to a certificate profile at the time of creation. The selected profile controls the lifecycle behavior of all certificates issued through those credentials.
The profile determines:
The certificate type and validation level available for requests
The default lifecycle behavior for issued certificates
Whether certificates issued through the credentials can be renewed, reissued, or duplicated
Whether certificate requests require approval before issuance
Confirm that the selected profile allows the intended lifecycle actions before configuring the ACME client with the credentials.
Notice
The automation profile type (ACME agent or sensor) cannot be changed after creation. To use a different profile type, create a new set of ACME credentials. See Create and manage automation profiles.
