Customize renewal intervals
Customize renewal intervals to control when renewal reminder notifications are sent before certificate expiration. This allows notification timing to align with operational requirements.
Before you begin
You must have permissions to manage account notification settings in CertCentral
Multiple intervals can be configured
Intervals must be set before certificate expiration
Set renewal intervals
To customize renewal intervals in CertCentral:
In the CertCentral main menu, go to Settings > Notifications.
Locate renewal interval configuration.
Set the desired notification intervals.
Select Save.
The updated renewal interval settings take effect immediately.
Renewal interval behavior
Renewal notifications are sent based on configured renewal intervals relative to certificate expiration.
Changes to renewal intervals apply to new notifications and may not affect reminders already sent.
Troubleshoot renewal interval issues
If renewal notifications are not sent as expected:
Verify interval configuration
Confirm notification settings are enabled
Check the certificate expiration date
