Cancel a pending DV certificate reissue
Cancel a pending DV certificate reissue when the reissue was submitted in error or is no longer required. The cancel option is available only while the reissue has Reissue pending status.
Before you begin
If DigiCert has already reissued a certificate:
You can only revoke the reissued certificate, if it is no longer needed.
You can't cancel a reissued certificate.
However, you can cancel a pending reissue request before it is reissued.
Notice
You can submit a new reissue request after canceling, if required.
Cancel the pending reissue request
In the CertCentral main menu, go to Certificates > Orders.
On the Orders page, use the filters and the advanced search features to locate the Reissue pending DV certificate request you want to cancel.
In the Order # column of the DV certificate request, select the order number to open the Order details page.
Under the Details tab Certificate actions dropdown menu, select Cancel reissue.
In the Cancel Reissue window, select Cancel reissue.
The reissue request is removed. The original issued certificate remains active.
The cancellation is recorded in Audit logs (To view, go to Account > Audit logs).
