Manage domains for the domain validation service

Go to the Inventory > Domains page in DigiCert® Trust Lifecycle Manager to manage domains for the centralized domain validation service. From this page, you can complete DNS setup, update validation settings, and remove domains from management.

Manage an individual domain

Use the following methods to manage an individual domain.

Actions menu

Select one of the following actions from the More actions (⋮) menu in the rightmost column of the domains table.

Action	Description
Check status	Force a check on the current domain validation status.
Remove from management	Remove the domain from the validation service.

Details sidebar

Select the ⓘ icon in the rightmost column to open the domain details sidebar, then select one of the following actions from the sidebar.

Action	Description
Edit policy	Update the domain validation policy, including the automatic revalidation schedule.
I've added this DNS record	Appears if the DNS configuration status is currently `Not configured`. Select this action after you add the required CNAME record to your DNS provider to start verification of the DNS configuration.
Save and finish later	Appears if the DNS configuration status is currently `Not configured`. Select this action to save the current DNS setup so you can return and complete the configuration later.
Remove domain	Remove the domain from the validation service.

Domain details page

Select the domain name to open the details page for it, then select one of the following actions from the applicable details tab or from the actions menu at top.

Action	Description
Edit policy	Update the domain validation policy, including the automatic revalidation schedule.
Remove from management	Remove the domain from the validation service.

Manage multiple domains in bulk

To manage multiple domains in bulk:

Use the checkboxes to select all the applicable domains in the domains table.

Select one of the following bulk actions from the table header or from the More actions menu in the table header.

Bulk action	Description
Start validation	Run the validation process for the selected domains after adding the required CNAME records to your DNS provider, or revalidate domains with validation policy set to Manual.
Remove from management	Remove the selected domains from the validation service.
Update validation settings	Update the validation policy for the selected domains, including the automatic revalidation schedule.
