CertCentral: Update your profile settings
Learn how to update your password, security question, and more
When creating your CertCentral account, you include specific information, such as a username and email address. You also create a password and select a security question and include an answer to it.
Before you begin
If migrated to DigiCert® account, use it to manage your username and password for accessing your DigiCert services. DigiCert® account doesn’t require you to create a security question. See the DigiCert® account instructions for getting started as an account user.
You still use CertCentral to update your phone number, job title, CertCentral email address, where you receive CertCentral related emails. See the CertCentral + DigiCert® account: Update your profile settings instructions.
CertCentral: Update your profile settings
In CertCentral in your “username” menu, in top, right corner, select My Profile.
On the Profile Settings page, update your profile information as required.
CertCentral: Update your first and last name, phone number, and job title
On the Profile Settings page, update your First Name, Last Name, Phone, and Job title as needed.
When ready, select Save Changes.
CertCentral: Update your password
On the Profile Settings page, select Update Password.
On the Update Password page, enter your Current Password.
Enter your New Password and Confirm New Password.
Your password must be 12–72 characters long and must contain three of the following: lowercase letter, capital letter, number, or symbol.
When ready select Save Changes.
The next time you sign in to CertCentral you must use the new password.
CertCentral: Update your security question
On the Profile Settings page, select Update Security Question.
On the Update Security Question page, in the Select a security question menu, select a question and then Answer your question.
Enter your Current Password and select Save Changes.
The next time you’re asked to answer your security question, you use the new question and respond with correct answer.
CertCentral: Update your email address
On the Profile Settings page, , next to Email address select the Edit link.
On the Update Email Address page, enter your New Email Address.
When ready, enter your Current Password and select Save Changes.
CertCentral now sends the CertCentral related emails your new email address, including authentication emails.
CertCentral: Update your username
On the Profile Settings page, next to Username, select the Edit link.
On the Update Username page, enter your New Username.
Your username must be at least six characters long.
When ready, enter your Current Password and select Save Changes.
The next time you sign in to CertCentral you must use the new username.
CertCentral + DigiCert® account: Update your profile settings
In CertCentral in your “username” menu, in top, right corner, select My Profile.
On the Profile Settings page, update your CertCentral profile information as required.
CertCentral + DigiCert® account: Update your phone and job title
On the Profile Settings page, update your Phone and Job title as needed.
When ready, select Save Changes.
CertCentral + DigiCert® account: Update your CertCentral email address
On the Profile Settings page, next to CertCentral email address select the Edit link.
On the Update Email Address page, enter your New Email Address.
When ready, select Save Changes.
CertCentral now sends the CertCentral related emails to your new email address.
