Dashboard

The Dashboard page uses charts, graphs, and tables to display information for the following Device Trust Manager asset types.

  • Devices

  • Jobs

  • Deployments

  • Certificates

  • Device groups

View dashboards

  1. Sign in to your DigiCert ONE® Device Trust Manager account.

  2. In DigiCert ONE, in the Manager menu (top right), select DigiCert® Device Trust Manager.

  3. Select Dashboard.

  4. Select the desired dashboard section (Device, Jobs, Deployments, Certificates, Device groups).

Device dashboards

Review the following device dashboards:

Dashboard name

Description

Device states

This table displays the total number of devices for the specified time period, organized by the device’s state.

A device's state can be:

 

You can hover over the bars to view the exact number of devices for the corresponding time period.

Devices by state

This table displays the total number of devices for the specified time period, organized by the device’s state.

A device's state can be:

Device connection status

This graph displays connected devices and not connected devices within a specified time frame.

  • The not connected status indicates that a devices does not have an active MQTT connection with Device Trust Manager's Rendezvous service. 

    • In this case, the device may be turned off or only connects on a scheduled basis. 

You can hover over the plot lines on the chart to view the exact number of devices for the corresponding time period.


Job dashboards

A job facilitates batch processing within Device Trust Manager.

Specifically, you can create a job for:

  • Delegating batch registration of devices, including issuance of bootstrap certificates

  • Batch issuance of secondary bootstrap or operational certificates

  • Configuring a deployment to device groups

This graph displays successful or unsuccessful registrations for multiple devices via a batch job.

You can hover over the bars to view the specific number of devices that successfully or unsuccessfully registered for the corresponding time period.

Certificates dashboard

Dashboard name

Description

Certificates issued

This graph displays the number of bootstrap and operational certificates that have been issued.

  • Bootstrap certificates are used to securely onboard and authenticate new devices onto a network.

  • Operational certificates are used to secure and authenticate existing devices already on a network.

You can hover over the plot lines on the graph to view the exact number of certificates for the corresponding time period.


Device groups dashboards

A device group is used to manage and organize devices as a collection. All registered devices must be associated with a device group.

  • A division is used to organize and manage IoT devices and certificates.
