Job types
Once created, a job will perform the requested action depending on its job type.
Job type | Description |

Batch certificates | Batch device registration simplifies the process of enrolling multiple devices under a single certificate management policy. By submitting one API request to initiate a device batch job, you can efficiently register all the devices in a single operation. Provide the required details for each device, and Device Trust Manager handles all of the registrations at once. |
Register multiple devices | Register multiple devices by uploading a device list and choosing a certificate management policy that meets your needs. Each device record will be automatically set up with a bootstrap certificate credential. This feature requires an Advanced license. |
Import certificates | Onboard externally issued certificates by bulk-importing .pem files via a single .zip upload. Device Trust Manager automatically validates, parses, and registers these certificates under a Batch-enrollment policy tied to an Essential license. |
Job statuses
A job moves through various statuses during its lifecycle, reflecting its progress and end state.
Status | Description |
|---|---|
Pending | Created but has not started. |
In progress | Actively performing the requested operation. |
Completed | Completed the requested operation. |
Terminated | Stopped before the operation could be completed. |
Pending approval | Processing is complete, results await approver confirmation. |
Rejected | An approver has reviewed and rejected the job. |
Failed | The job encountered an error during execution and could not complete its operations. |
Pending rejection | A rejection has been requested but has not yet been fully processed. |
Rejection in progress | The system is actively processing the rejection. |
