Certificate templates
The certificate template is where the configuration of a certificate starts. Certificate templates are used to create certificate profiles, which in turn are used to issue certificates.
Each certificate template has a corresponding seat type and set of available certificate options. It is important to choose the right certificate template as the starting point when creating a certificate profile.
View certificate templates
To view available certificate templates in your account:
From the main menu, select Manage > Templates.
Sort certificate templates in ascending or descending order by selecting a column title.
Filter certificate templates by selecting the filter icons in the column headers. Multiple filters can be applied.
Customize the table columns by selecting table settings at the right side of the table header. Available columns include:
Seat type: Type of seat consumed when issuing a certificate from any certificate profile created from this certificate template.
Use cases: Applicable certificate types and trust scenarios for this certificate template.
Description: Detailed description of the intended purpose of this certificate template.
Aviso
To create a certificate profile from a certificate template, the appropriate seat type license for that certificate template (as seen in the Seat type column) must have already been purchased, otherwise the link to that certificate template is disabled.
