Prerequisites

  • Microsoft CA server running Windows 2019 or later with Active Directory Certificate Services (AD CS) and Java 8 (64-bit).

  • DigiCert MCARS service installed, configured, and running on the Microsoft CA server.

  • DigiCert sensor installed on your network and able to reach both Trust Lifecycle Manager and the MCARS service on the Microsoft CA server (default port 7443).

Note: To download the DigiCert MCARS or sensor software, visit the Client tools page in Trust Lifecycle Manager.

Steps

  1. Fill out the top section with general properties for the connector and select the DigiCert sensor that will manage it.

  2. In the Link account section, add the details for the MCARS service running on the Microsoft CA server.

  3. Fill out the Import attributes section if you want to import existing certificates from the Microsoft CA.

Trust Lifecycle Manager checks for new certificates to import from the Microsoft CA at the Import frequency you select here (every 15 minutes by default).
