Enrollments (Legacy)

On July 16, 2025, we launched the new inventory experience for DigiCert® Trust Lifecycle Manager—a streamlined, more responsive interface to help you monitor and manage all your digital trust assets at scale. With the new inventory experience, you now manage your enrollments from the Inventory page alongside all your other digital trust assets.

Organizations may choose to continue using the legacy inventory for now. This page describes how to use the legacy Inventory > Enrollments interface.

重要

Legacy inventory is currently scheduled for retirement in the coming months. To learn more about the new inventory experience and how to transition to it, see Transitioning to the new inventory experience.

How do I tell which version I have?

In the Trust Lifecycle Manager menu:

  • If you see separate Inventory and Inventory > Enrollments items, you are still using the legacy inventory.

  • If you instead see an Enrollments tab under the Inventory page, you have the new inventory experience.

View enrollments (Legacy)

Go to Inventory > Enrollments to view any pending enrollments that use the Enrollment Code or Manual Approval authentication methods. You can also see past enrollment requests that have already been approved and redeemed.

  • The Status column shows the current enrollment status.

  • Sort enrollments by selecting a column title, or search by selecting the filter icon.

  • Customize the table columns by selecting table settings at the right side of the table header.

  • Select the seat ID to view the details for an enrollment.

提示

Use your account dashboard to monitor and launch pre-filtered views of enrollments in your account pending approval.

Manage enrollments (Legacy)

Go to the Inventory > Enrollments page to manage any pending enrollments that use the Enrollment Code or Manual Approval authentication methods:

  • Hover the seat ID for an enrollment and select an action from the actions (three dots) menu.

  • Use the checkboxes to select multiple enrollments, select a bulk action from the dropdown menu at bottom, and Apply action.

  • Select the seat ID to view the details for an enrollment, and from there select an action from the actions menu on the right.

Enrollment management actions

The enrollment management actions you see depend on factors such as the authentication method, enrollment status, CA type (private or public), and your user role. Possible actions are:

  • Approve enrollment: Approve an enrollment request.

  • Enrollment code and URL: View the enrollment code and URL (private CAs only).

  • Reject enrollment: Reject an enrollment request.

  • Resend enrollment: Resend an enrollment request.

  • Resend approval email: Resend the approval email for an enrollment request.

  • Reset enrollment: Reactivate an expired enrollment code.

  • Review enrollment: View enrollment details. Another way is to select the seat ID for the enrollment from the list view.

  • Unlock enrollment: Unlock an enrollment that's been locked due to the maximum number of authentication attempts being exceeded.

  • View audit trail: View the audit logs for an enrollment.

Transitioning to the new inventory experience

The new Inventory interface enhances the current experience in the following ways:

Categories and views

  • New inventory categories to help you organize your workflows.

  • New system views to load important subsets of each inventory category.

  • Enrollments are now consolidated under inventory so you can manage new enrollments alongside your existing assets.

Table controls

  • Redesigned inventory table is faster, more responsive, and easier to customize.

  • Metric cards above the table load pre-filtered views of assets that may need attention.

  • Drag and drop to resize and reorder table columns.

Filter and customize

  • All table columns have enhanced sort and filter options.

  • New table-level function to apply multiple filters at once.

  • Buttons on the top-right to save custom views, generate reports, or add/remove columns.

Management functions

  • Admin web request is now available as an inventory function to enroll new certificates with automated delivery to supported endpoints.

  • New Add integration button to build up your inventory by adding connectors.

  • Asset management functions are now accessed from a new location:

    • To manage a single inventory asset, select actions from the rightmost table column. Or, open the asset and select the actions from the top-right of the details page.

    • To bulk manage multiple assets, select them in the table and then select a bulk action from the table header.

Contact your DigiCert account representative to start using the new inventory experience.

When you make the transition:

  • All your existing inventory records remain intact. Your existing records move into the new user interface and are available under the new categories and system views.

  • Existing reports, notifications, scheduled automations, etc., tied to your inventory also remain intact. You can view details and manage them in the usual ways, using the new action menus.

  • Your existing saved views do not carry over. You must create new custom views under the new inventory categories.

  • Contact your DigiCert account representative if you have questions or need help with anything.
