Delete domains in your CertCentral account

Learn how to delete domains in your CertCentral account.

Before you begin

Only CertCentral administrators can delete domains in your account. Deleting a domain removes a domain from your account and hides it from the list of domains.

It does not affect existing certificates that include the domain. It does not prevent you from re-adding the domain to your account.

Delete a domain in your account

  1. In your CertCentral account, in the left main menu, go to Certificates > Domains.

  2. On the Domains page, in the Domain name column, select the domain you want to delete.

  3. On the Domain details page, in the Deactivate domain dropdown, select Delete domain.

  4. In the Delete domain window, select Delete domain.

What’s next

You have now removed the domain from your CertCentral account. Before you can get a certificate for this domain, you must add it back to your account. You can do this on the Domains page or include the domain in the certificate request.

Delete multiple domains at one time in your account

  1. In your CertCentral account, in the left main menu, go to Certificates > Domains.

  2. On the Domains page, to the left of the Domain name column, check the domains you want to delete.

When you check the second domain, the Delete domains button activates.

  3. Select Delete domains.

  4. In the Delete domains in bulk window, select Delete domains.

What’s next

You have now removed the domains from your CertCentral account. Before you can get certificates for these domains, you must add them back to your account. You can do this on the Domains page or include the domains in a certificate request.
