Delete organizations from CertCentral
Learn how to delete organizations from CertCentral.
Before you begin
To delete organizations from your account, you must be a CertCentral administrator.
Deleting an organization:
Removes the organization from CertCentral.
Deletes all domains associated with the organization.
Hides the organization from the list of organizations and hides any associated domains from the list of domains.
You can't delete an organization included on pending certificate requests or on orders.
To delete an organization included on a pending certificate request, you must reject the request. Or you must update the pending request and select a different organization. However, if that organization is on another order, you can’t delete it.
Important
You can’t delete an organization included on an order (pending, canceled, active, revoked, or expired).
What if I change my mind?
Deleting an organization and its associated domains doesn’t prevent you from adding them back to your account. While requesting a new certificate for a deleted organization or its associated domains, you must revalidate them before DigiCert can issue the certificate.
