Add a plugin connector
After you add a plugin in DigiCert® Trust Lifecycle Manager, you can use the plugin by creating one or more plugin connectors. Each connector configures a single instance of the plugin.
Add the connector
From the Trust Lifecycle Manager main menu, go to Integrations > Connectors > Add connector.
In the Appliances section, select the plugin you want to use.
Configure the settings for the plugin instance on the Add Connector page. Configuration sections and fields depend on the JSON configuration file for the plugin that was added in Trust Lifecycle Manager.
The following fields are always required:
Name: Enter a name for the plugin connector.
Business unit: Select a business for this plugin connector. Only users assigned to this business unit can manage this connector.
Managing sensor: Selection of a DigiCert sensor is always required. The sensor is part of the core_settings in the JSON configuration and is required for plugin operation.
Other required fields depend on the plugin configuration. For example, a plugin that automates certificates on a network appliance may include the following fields:
Management IP: Management IP address for the appliance to manage through this connector.
Management port: Management port number for the appliance.
Credentials: User credentials to access and manage the appliance.
Select Add to add the plugin connector.
What's next
Once you create the plugin connector, you can select it in certificate lifecycle automation actions in Trust Lifecycle Manager, as you would for any other connector type. Trust Lifecycle Manager calls your plugin, which carries out the custom automation operations you defined.
To view existing plugin connectors:
To view a list of plugin connectors that you created, go to the Integrations > Connectors page.
To view details of a plugin connector, find the connector on the Integrations > Connectors page. Select the information icon in the rightmost column of the table to view the details of the plugin connector.
