Remove CertCentral access in DigiCert account–managed environments

Remove a user's CertCentral access when your organisation manages users through DigiCert account. This method retains the user's profile in DigiCert account while preventing sign-in to CertCentral.

Before you begin

Use this method only if your organisation manages users through DigiCert account. For CertCentral-managed users, delete the user in CertCentral instead.

Remove access

Follow your organisation's DigiCert account administration procedures to remove the user's access to the CertCentral application.

After removal:

  • The user can no longer sign in to CertCentral

  • The user profile and historical activity are retained in DigiCert account

  • Access can be restored by reassigning CertCentral in DigiCert account
