Manage your profile and personal settings
Update your CertCentral profile settings to keep your contact details current. Settings include your phone number, job title, and CertCentral email address.
Notice
If your CertCentral account is integrated with DigiCert account, manage your name, password, and username in DigiCert account. CertCentral profile settings cover phone number, job title, and CertCentral email address only. See the DigiCert account user getting started guide.
Before you begin
You must be signed in to CertCentral to access your profile settings. To update your name, email address, or phone number as a DigiCert account user, sign in to your DigiCert account instead.
Access your profile settings
In CertCentral, select your username menu in the top-right corner.
Select My Profile.
Update your phone number and job title
On the Profile Settings page, update your Phone and Job title as needed.
Select Save Changes.
Update your CertCentral email address
Updating your CertCentral email address changes where CertCentral sends certificate-related emails, including renewal notifications and authentication emails.
On the Profile Settings page, next to CertCentral email address, select Edit.
On the Update Email Address page, enter your new email address.
Select Save Changes.
Update your name, password, security question, email, and username
This information is applicable to the standalone CertCentral accounts only.
For accounts not integrated with DigiCert account, you can also update the following from the Profile Settings page:
First and last name: update your First Name and Last Name and select Save Changes.
Password: select Update Password, enter your current and new password, and select Save Changes. Your password must be 12–72 characters and contain at least three of the following: lowercase letter, uppercase letter, number, or symbol.
Security question: select Update Security Question, select a question, enter your answer and current password, and select Save Changes.
Email address: next to Email address, select Edit, enter your new email address, enter your current password, and select Save Changes.
Username: next to Username, select Edit, enter your new username (minimum six characters), enter your current password, and select Save Changes.
Manage API keys
API keys for integrations are managed from your profile settings. See Generate an API key.
Troubleshoot profile and sign-in issues
If you cannot update profile or sign-in settings:
Confirm that you are signed in with the correct user account
Contact an account administrator to verify account permissions
Contact DigiCert Support for assistance.
