Add ServiceNow to your delivery settings

Add the ability to generate a ServiceNow incident ticket when an alert is triggered. You must have an existing ServiceNow account and proper permissions to configure your ServiceNow account with DigiCert services.

Add your ServiceNow account to your alert delivery settings

  1. Sign into your DigiCert application and go to the alerts tool.

    • Trust Lifecyle Manager: Policies > Alerts

  2. Select the Delivery settings tab. The page shows available delivery methods.

  3. Select the ServiceNow tile. The page shows your configured ServiceNow accounts (if any).

  4. Select Add. The Add ServiceNow form opens to the right.

  5. Enter a friendly Name for your ServiceNow account.

    Tip

    The name should be descriptive and recognizable to admins who manage it.

  6. Enter your ServiceNow account URL. Make sure to include https:// and that the URL is accurate and accessible.

  7. Enter the Username and Password for ServiceNow account. Make sure the credentials are accurate.

    Important

    Sign in with a ServiceNow service account to avoid disruption of service that may occur with a standard user account.

  8. Select Add. Your ServiceNow account is configured and can be connected in your alerts.
