Create a ServiceNow incident for an alert
Configure an alert to create a ServiceNow incident ticket in your ServiceNow account. You must have an existing ServiceNow account and proper permissions to configure your ServiceNow account with DigiCert services.
Important
Before you begin: Make sure you add ServiceNow to your delivery settings.
Create a ServiceNow incident ticket when an alert is triggered
Sign into your DigiCert application and go to the alerts tool.
Trust Lifecyle Manager: Policies > Alerts
In the Delivery section:
If the alert does not have a ServiceNow action, select Add. Then for Action, select ServiceNow.
If there is already a ServiceNow action, select the Edit (pencil) icon.
Select the ServiceNow instance you want to track the alert with.
Optional: Review and edit the ServiceNow template for this alert.
Caution
Use caution when editing email content, inserting parameters, or removing parameters. Incorrect parameter syntax will compromise the message.
Select Preview to review the incident details that will used to create the incident ticket.
Select Add or Update.
