Use this feature to view and save diagnostic reports. For any issues while using DigiCert® Trust Assistant, the file obtained from Diagnostics helps diagnose the problem.
Before saving the report:
If the Log level is set to Basic - Info level, change it to Detailed - Debug level by selecting the Update log level to Debug button.
After changing to Detailed - Debug level, retry the failing operation to regenerate the log.
To save the report:
Select Archive report to open a dialog box.
Enter a password used to generate the encrypted archive report (minimum 8 characters).
Optionally, enter the date and time in the Date (optional) and Time (optional) fields, respectively, when the error occurred. This will help to identify the problem.
Select Archive report.
The report will be available in the
<user home>/.digicert-trust-assistant/diagnostics
directory.
The ZIP file contains all the information shown in the GUI, application logs, and configuration details. Share this file with the password with your administrator for the issue to be diagnosed.

To open this ZIP file on Windows, you will need an application that supports AES256 encryption because the native File Explorer does not support this encryption method. A specialized archiving application is required.
You can share the file with your DigiCert account manager if there are any issues.
