Bulk assign scripts to multiple agents
To simplify management, DigiCert® Trust Lifecycle Manager allows you to bulk assign SNI information or pre/post-installation scripts across multiple agents at once.
Before you begin
Only pre-installation, post-installation, and SNI information scripts can be bulk assigned. See Script types.
Store the scripts in each agent's local user-scripts directory.
Add the scripts in Trust Lifecycle Manager to configure and make them available.
Make sure each agent is running software version 3.0.8 or above. To update the software on an agent, see Manage agents.
Bulk assign steps
From the Trust Lifecycle Manager main menu, select Discovery & automation tools > Agents.
Use the checkboxes on the left to select all the agents you want to assign scripts to.
From the Bulk actions dropdown next to one of the selected agent names, select the option to Assign scripts.
Select the script type to assign to the agents from the dropdown menu.
Additional dropdowns appear so you can select options for the script to run. The specific options you see depend on whether you have selected agents for a single operating system or multiple operating systems.
SNI information scripts apply per operating system. Pre/post-installation scripts apply per operating system and web server application.
Select the name of the specific script to run from the Script dropdown on the far right.
Use the Add script link if you want to add more scripts or more operating system or web server application combinations for a particular script.
When you're ready, select the Assign button at bottom to assign the scripts to the agents you selected.
The scripts you assign here override any comparable SNI information or pre/post-installation scripts previously configured for the agents.
중요
After assigning an SNI information script, run the Refresh configuration action on the agents to force activation of the SNI domains and discover any existing SNI certificates for them. Otherwise, the updated SNI domains won't become active until the agents run their daily refresh operation.
