Set up your one-time password verification email
After your CertCentral administrator adds you to CertCentral or resets your locked one-time password (OTP) email verification method, you must use it to access your account.
The CertCentral two-factor authentication process implements the Time-based One-Time Password (TOTP) protocol. Instead of installing an OTP app on your mobile phone, CertCentral can send a temporary password to the email address in your CertCentral account Profile Settings.
Sign in using the OTP verification email
Go to the CertCentral Sign in to your account page, enter your username and password, and select Sign in.
If this is your first time signing in to your new account, you must enter and confirm a new password and set up and answer a security question.
You are taken to the One-time password (OTP) email verification page, and CertCentral sends you an email with the subject Your one-time password for authentication into CertCentral.
What if I can't find the email?
If you don’t see the email in your inbox, check your junk/spam mail folder.
If you still can’t find the email, under the Submit button, select the Resend email link.
Important
CertCentral sends a temporary password to the email address in your CertCentral account Profile Settings.
Open Your DigiCert OTP Device Reset Request email.
In the One-time password (OTP) box, enter the temporary password from the email and select Submit.
You should now be in your CertCentral account.
What's next
To access your CertCentral account, use your OTP verification email to complete the two-factor authentication process.
What should I do if I get locked out of your account because of too many failed passcode entries?
If you incorrectly enter the passcode too many times, you will get locked out of your account. When this happens, contact your CertCentral account administrator to reset your OTP verification email method. See How do I reset my one-time password (OTP) when locked out of my account.
