Assign an existing DNS integration to automate domain validation on more systems
When you initially add a DNS integration, you can:
Assign it to any of your connected network appliances, cloud services, or DigiCert agents to automate domain validation processes during certificate lifecycle automation events.
Mark it as the default DNS integration to use for domain validation by any automated systems that do not have a specific DNS integration assigned.
As you continue to add automated systems to DigiCert® Trust Lifecycle Manager, you can edit the connector for any of your existing DNS integrations to assign it as the preferred DNS integration for more systems.
Edit the connector
To update the assigned systems for a DNS integration, edit the connector for it in Trust Lifecycle Manager:
From the Trust Lifecycle Manager main menu, select Integrations > Connectors.
Locate the listing for the desired DNS integration and select the name to view the details for it.
In the Details section, select the edit (pencil) icon to update the connector details.
Check off the applicable system types (Appliances, Cloud Services, or Agents) and use the corresponding dropdowns to select the individual systems that should use this DNS integration to automate domain control validation checks.
From the edit view, you can also:
Update the name used to refer to this DNS integration.
Mark it as the new default DNS integration for automated systems that do not have a specific DNS integration assigned.
Update the credentials used to connect to the remote DNS service.
When you're done, select Update to save your changes.
