For DigiCert® On-premises Private CA, new API users (also known as service users) must be added and configured in your local On-premises Private CA environment.
API users are for API access and functions. Unlike standard users, service users do not represent an individual but are used for automated workflows and integrations.
Sign in to your local On-premises Private CA.
Select User Management.
Select API users.
Select Create API user.
Complete the form. Select the user role that best matches the new user's responsibilities.
Select Create API user.
