Enhancements
UX Redesign of Business Units pages - UX redesign of the Create/View/Edit pages for Business Units.
Audit Log Enhancements - enhancements to the audit log pages showing friendly timestamps, renaming references to "Identifier" to "Seat Id", removing references to "Resource id" form bottom pane, making entries consistent across resource types, etc.
Certificate Import - new feature that allows customers to import certificates to import X.509 certificates issued by a third-party CA system.
New REST API endpoint called 'certificate-import' documented within the Swagger documentation.
Added two new seat types to support the certificate import use-case:
Imported Seat: assigned to imported certificates for which their Issuing CA have previously been imported into your account. You will be able to 'download' the certificate, use the validation services (CRL and OCSP), and perform certificate lifecycle operations such as 'revoke', 'suspend/resume' against the imported certificate.
Unmanaged Seat: assigned to imported certificates for which their Issuing CA is NOT available in the system. You will only be able to 'download' the certificate. Since we do not have access to the Issuing CA, no validation or alternative certificate lifecycle operations can be supported.
Operations that can be performed on this release include:
View and Edit Unmanaged/Imported Seats.
Delete Imported Seat, which will also revoke the associated certificate.
Delete Unmanaged Seat, which will NOT revoke the certificate since it does not have access to the Issuing CA - see known issues section.
Opmerking
Note for forthcoming release: support for importing certificates via a default or custom group identifier which will allow administrators to bind a specific group of imported certificates to a custom email template that will be used by DigiCert to send certificate expiration reminders as per the frequency set within the group settings.
Known issues
Due to known bug Unmanaged Seats can not be deleted and Unmanaged certificates can not be downloaded from the Certificates page.
The Dashboard chart does not currently show Unmanaged/Imported certificate data.
Fixes
DigiCert Desktop Client software now downloads without errors from Resources > Client Tools menu option.
Removed password pop-up when generating key pair via the DigiCert Desktop Client.
