Configure true-Sign V on macOS
true-Sign V is a software solution that allows you to electronically sign documents with DigiCert® Document Trust Manager. You can securely create signatures or sign documents on your computer using applications such as Adobe Acrobat Reader.

Nota
As of version 1.0.3, true-Sign V requires HTTPS connection to digicert.com (and its subdomains) to perform a signature. Besides the network requirement, it should run on all x86 and arm64 based macOS versions.

Add DigiCert® Document Trust Manager credentials in true-Sign V
A credential in the DigiCert® Document Trust Manager is a pairing between a digital certificate and a validated user. To add your DigiCert® Document Trust Manager credentials in true-Sign V, follow these steps:
Open the true-Sign V application.
In the true-Sign V application window, select Add from the right-hand side menu.
In the dialog window dropdown, select your credential provider (DigiCert One America, DigiCert One EU or DigiCert One CH).
Select Next.
In the new browser window, sign in to DigiCert ONE with your username and password.
Return to the true-Sign V application window, select Finish.
Access PKCS#11 library path
To access PKCS#11 library path, follow these steps:
Open the true-Sign V application.
In the true-Sign V application window, select About trueSign V… from the menu bar.
In the About window, select the library path to highlight and select the text with the ⌘ c key combination to copy the selection.
Save the copied path for later use.
Nota
You will be prompted to enter this path when you configure true-Sign V PKCS#11 module in Adobe Acrobat Reader.
Configure true-Sign V PKCS#11 module in Adobe Acrobat Reader
To configure true-Sign V PKCS#11 module in Adobe Acrobat Reader, follow these steps:
Open Adobe Acrobat Reader.
Select Preferences… from the menu bar.
In the preferences window, select Signatures from the Categories menu on the left-hand side.
In the Identities > Trusted Certificates section, select More…
In the settings window, select PKCS#11 Modules and Tokens > Attach Module.
Paste the path you copied from the true-Sign V about dialog box (see Access PKCS#11 library path) into the Library Path field and select OK.
View credentials in DigiCert® Document Trust Manager with true-Sign V
To view credentials in DigiCert® Document Trust Manager with true-Sign V, follow these steps:
Open the true-Sign V application.
In the true-Sign V application window, select the credential you want to view.
Select Manage.
In the browser new window, sign in to DigiCert ONE with your username and password.
Navigate to DigiCert® Document Trust Manager > Credentials.
Select the credential nickname to view more information.
