Send subaccount invitations
Use the subaccount invitation feature to send the user an invitation with a link to create a subaccount. Once done, they can sign in and begin ordering products.
Subaccounts added via invitations are automatically set to self-billing (Bill subaccount) with default CertCentral pricing. Later, you can change the billing and pricing settings as needed, unless a contract's assigned to it. To configure these settings before the user accesses their account, use the Create subaccount feature.
Send an invitation
Add the user's email address and subaccount type. The user is sent an email with a link to finish their account creation by providing their contact and organization information.
In CertCentral, in the left menu, go to Subaccounts.
On the Subaccounts page, select Invite subaccount.
In the Invite subaccount window:
Enter the recipient's Email address.
Select a Subaccount type. Once the subaccount is added, contact your account manager to change it to a different type.
Select Send a custom message if you want to include a message in the email invitation.
Select Send invitation.
What's next
DigiCert sends the user an email with a link to create their CertCentral subaccount. They must provide their contact and organization information. Then, add their username and password to set up the account.
Once complete, a CertCentral subaccount is automatically created. They can begin ordering products and managing their account.
Invitations automatically expire in 30 days from the date you send it.
Is your CertCentral Partner account using DigiCert’s single sign in experience?
Then, DigiCert automatically sends another email (subject: [Action required] Welcome to DigiCert® account) to the subaccount contact with a link for signing in to their DigiCert® account. The subaccount contact uses their CertCentral credentials to sign in.
Signing into their DigiCert® account integrates CertCentral with the DigiCert® account. Then, the contact uses DigiCert® account to add and assign users to CertCentral. They CertCentral to assign and manage their user roles and permissions.

Manage invitations
On the Manage inviations page, check the status of an invitation, resend or cancel an invitation, or see who sent the invitation.
In CertCentral, in the left menu, go to Subaccounts.
On the Subaccounts page, select Manage invitations to see the subaccount invitations that have been sent.
To view the details of an invitation, select its Status.
