About device certificate
A device certificate is a client authentication certificate issued when you sign in to DigiCert® Trust Assistant through DigiCert ONE Login. This certificate automates authentication between DigiCert Trust Assistant and DigiCert ONE.
Renewal
This certificate expires in 365 days, but DigiCert Trust Assistant automatically renews it within 14 days before expiration.
Upon expiration
If the certificate expires, for example, when DigiCert Trust Assistant isn't running during the renewal period, it can't be renewed automatically. In this case, you need to re-issue the certificate by re-authorizing it. For more details, see Re-authenticate Device Certificate.
User deletion
When you delete a user in the Account Manager, their certificate is automatically invalidated. As a result, the user will lose access to DigiCert ONE Login through DigiCert Trust Assistant, and all features available after signing in will also be invalidated.
