SAML: Resend the Create Your DigiCert Client Certificate email

If a SAML user deletes or loses the Create Your DigiCert "Client Certificate" email before they create their client certificate, resend that email from your CertCentral account.

Before you begin

  • You must be an administrator in your CertCentral account.

  • You must have the SAML user's information: name, email address, etc.

Resend email

  1. Go to the client certificate's Order # detail page

    1. In your CertCentral account, in the sidebar menu, click Certificate > Orders.

    2. On the Orders page, click the order number link for the client certificate.

  2. Resend the issuance email

    1. On the Order # details page, under Certificate Details, in the Email Addresses section, click Resend Issuance Email.


      When you click Resend Issuance Email, the old link is voided and can't be used to generate a client certificate.

    2. The link changes to Sent.
