Invite users to join your CertCentral account

Before you begin

Important

User invitations expire 30 days from the time they are first sent.

Invite users

  1. In your CertCentral account, in the left main menu, go to Account > User Invitations.

  2. On the User Invitations page, select Invite New User.

  3. In the Invite New Users window, enter 1 or more email addresses, comma-separated.

  4. Optional: Add a custom message

    To add a custom message in the account creation email, check Send custom message and enter the message.

  5. When finished, select Send Invitations.

What's next

The invited user will receive an email with a link to create their account. On the User Invitations page, you will see the user invitations with the status Invitation Sent.

To view and approve your user invitations, navigate to the User Invitations page (in the left main menu, go to Account > User Invitations).

User invite expiration and deletion process

  • User invitations with the status Invitation Sent

    CertCentral user invites expire 30 days from the time they are first sent.

    Important

    Resending the invitation does not reset the invitation created date. After 30 days, you must send a new invitation.

  • User invitations with the status Needs Administrator Approval

    Unapproved user invitations expire 60 days from when the invitation was created.

  • User invitation 365-day lifetime

    After 365 days, user invitations are removed from your CertCentral account: Invitation Sent, Needs Administrator Approval, Approved, Rejected, Canceled, and Expired.
