Delete a user from CertCentral or disable their CertCentral access
Use these instructions to delete user from CertCentral or to remove a user's CertCentral access via DigiCert account.
Delete a CertCentral user
In DigiCert account, when you delete a user, their profile is deleted from DigiCert account, CertCentral, and any other DigiCert services they used. Deleting a user does not remove their name from the certificate issuance history or from audit logs. However, their profile is completely gone from CertCentral, meaning you can't find them in the list of CertCentral users.
Remove a user's access to CertCentral
In DigiCert account, you can remove a user's access to CertCentral by removing their access to the CertCentral application. With this option, the user's profile remains in CertCentral, making it easy to restore CertCentral access if needed. They can still sign in to DigiCert account and access the other DigiCert services they are assigned to.
