Managed automation workflow
With DigiCert® Trust Lifecycle Manager's managed automation solution, you can automate and manage all your certificate deployments directly from the Trust Lifecycle Manager web console in one convenient location.
Follow these high-level steps to set up managed automation for certificates deployed on web servers, network appliances, cloud services, and vaults:
Verify your systems are supported and all prerequisites are met.
See Supported systems and Prerequisites.
To get certificates from issuing CAs outside of DigiCert® CA Manager, make sure you have CA connectors in place.
Deploy the required client tools for the target systems.
To automate certificates on servers: Deploy and manage agents.
To automate certificates on network appliances, cloud services, and vaults: Deploy and manage sensors.
Configure the automation clients and services.
For web servers: Configure agents.
For custom server applications: Set up managed automation for custom applications.
For network appliances and cloud services: Connect to a network appliance or cloud service.
For vault delivery: Connect to Azure Key Vault.
To automate domain control validation (DCV) processes: Connect to a DNS service.
Create certificate profiles for automated management.
Start managing your certificate deployments, either individually or in bulk.
